England and Scotland

Thought it was about time I update this thing and fill you in on my current adventures. Currently I am in Estonia but will blog about that at a later time. I'll just concentrate on England and Scotland for now.

I made it to London after a 23hour flight and many a beer with the welsh guys sitting next to me. Made it to Xav's place after trying to decipher his hand drawn map that he especially made for me. After a quick power nap it was off to see Carus at the 12 bar club. This guy can work a crowd and didn't disappoint... 8 pints later and very jet lagged we made it home.

The next few days I spent seeing the sites of London with the highlite being able to see King Lear at Shakespear's Globe theatre in the groundlings section. The actors came in and out of the crowd all the time and the play was very well done especially the scene where one of the characters eye's was ripped out. This ended with one of the girls in the crowd fainting.

On the weekend I down to Brighton beach to catch up with Jake who I had met in China. We had a traditional english bbq with one of his mates riley on the "beach = stones" and enjoyed the only sun I think they had seen in a very long time.

Next it was up to Scotland and Edinburgh where I did a 3 day tour of the highlands on the Haggis wild and sex yellow bus. This was a lot of fun and I even got to try on a kilt which involved me getting my pants off in front of about 30 people. Thankfully he didn't make me take my underwear off. We also did a spot of nessie hunting no clear sitings but.... well I'll let the video talk for itself.

The highlands were spectacular almost equivalent to New Zealand scenery. The last night in Edinburgh we did a ghost tour of the underground which was slightly scary but more amusing as Bevan and the girls were easily scared...

Then it was onto Belgium...
