Euro-cup

I thought that I would give this a special mention as I spent the good part of the month watching many games live on TV! It is amazing how football obsessed Europe is. The passion that each country shows for its national team is amazing. My highlight of the Euro-cup was definitely my trip to the fan-zone. Unfortunately the 2 teams that I was supporting the Dutch aka chokers and the Portuguese crashed out in the finals to teams that they should have easily beaten. In the end the final was an anti-climax with the Spanish easily accounting for Germany, but they were a well deserved champion. They played amazing football throughout the whole tournament. It was weird not watching any football when it was all over but a great experience nonetheless.
